When we go with the flow of life, things become easier and better. People come to our aid. Things that we need are given to us. Circumstances change for the better. Why is this? Because we lose our ego and allow life to move through us. We become one with the totality of life and connect with the infinite wisdom that binds us all. We become a channel for the good of all beings. We yield to reality and move between space and form.
Reality is whole, benevolent, fluid and one with the totality. Thinking cuts up reality into smaller pieces and creates a static, harsh and distorted picture. Our incessant thinking and constant interference with life cause us to suffer pain, anxiety, depression, stress, sadness and other negative emotions. The truth is that no matter what we do, it will never be enough because we are preoccupied with forms and are not aware of space.
How do we let go of our constant thinking and create space in life? The key is to accept this moment as it is. If at this moment we feel depressed or anxious, we let it be. We feel the raw emotion in our body without judging it. We don’t get taken in by the stories created by our mind. We break the link between our thought and emotion. If we find that we can’t accept being depressed or anxious at this moment, that’s fine too. We don’t fight it, we go with it. When we accept each moment as it is, we go with the flow of life and experience its fullness.
